Monthly close-outs remain available for anyone willing to look back. Since October 2025, six of nine months closed positive. In 2024, eight months finished green. The point was never perfection. The point was proof.

That context matters now, because something has broken.

The team is down — and not just financially. Emotionally. The work doesn’t feel the way it used to, and anyone who’s been here long enough understands why. Losing changes the texture of everything. That’s not an excuse. It’s a reality of operating in live markets with real exposure.

What makes this moment uncomfortable is that there was a period — not long ago — when leadership believed three consecutive losing months bordered on impossible given the data, the history, and the structure behind this approach. And yet, here we are.

That responsibility sits squarely with leadership.

Past success does not guarantee future results. Markets evolve. Edges decay. Assumptions age. When those shifts aren’t interrogated early — when confidence quietly replaces curiosity — systems drift.

So the real question isn’t why are we losing?
The real question is what needs to change?

The entities that last evolve before they’re forced to. They examine systems before blaming effort. They redesign rather than double down out of pride. That is the work in front of us now.

We’re not pretending to have all the answers. We’re opening the conversation deliberately — not as marketing, not as deflection — but because clarity only comes from honest examination.
