Why there was no card yesterday
Yesterday was intentionally quiet. Much of the BrownBagBets leadership team was in transit returning from our January retreat in Las Vegas. No edges were missed, no opportunities abandoned. Sometimes the right decision is to pause, reset, and protect decision quality.

Why that matters now
After a volatile stretch earlier in the month, discipline doesn’t always look like action. It often looks like restraint. Stepping away for a day is part of maintaining a process that can withstand pressure without forcing outcomes.

Today’s posture
As of this morning, only one position has met our criteria. That’s not a concern — it’s a signal. More may follow as the day develops. If not, the record remains just as valid.
