Saturday finished 1-2 across one MLB position and two English Premier League positions, moving the standardized August bankroll to approximately 118%. Sunday produced no published positions at all. Monday begins fresh with one EPL position and two MLB positions totaling 6% allocation. The calendar keeps moving. Capital does not have to.

Sunday was researched. Nothing created enough evidence, value and confidence to earn capital. The portfolio therefore exposed 0% and carried the bankroll untouched into Monday.

This is not inactivity. It is the decision system returning no permission.

Two Sports. Separate Scoreboards. One Bankroll.

Current August Records

Overall 41-28
MLB 39-27
EPL 2-1
Current bankroll 118%

Why Separate League Records?

A 41-28 overall record tells us what the complete August portfolio has done.

The league records tell us something different: how mature the evidence base is inside each sport.

MLB carries a much larger sample. EPL remains in the earliest stages of current season calibration. Keeping those records separate prevents success in one environment from creating false confidence in another.

Position 01

Fulham vs Chelsea

Moneyline Chelsea
Price: -112 Allocation: 1%
Research Rationale

Chelsea and Fulham finished level on points last season, but the summer has materially altered the Chelsea side.

Xabi Alonso arrives after establishing himself as one of Europe's highest regarded coaches. Chelsea has also changed its recruitment strategy by blending elite younger talent with experienced leadership. Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck add veteran presence to a dressing room that previously leaned heavily toward youth.

The attacking ceiling has also changed. Morgan Rogers joins Cole Palmer and João Pedro in a group capable of creating considerably more variety between the lines and around the penalty area.

Defensively, Levi Colwill returns from long term injury while new additions provide greater depth. Moisés Caicedo remains one of the central stabilizing pieces in midfield.

Fulham begins its own transition under a new manager, creating uncertainty on both sides. We simply believe Chelsea's talent, depth and managerial ceiling provide enough advantage at approximately even money to justify a small position.

Indicator Stack
  • Xabi Alonso Managerial Upgrade
  • Morgan Rogers Addition
  • Veteran Leadership Added
  • Improved Defensive Depth
  • No European Schedule
  • Near Even Money Price
Why Only 1%?
Both clubs begin under new managers and Chelsea's roster has changed substantially. The upside is obvious, but much of the thesis remains projection rather than current season evidence. Early season EPL uncertainty keeps the allocation deliberately small.

Major League Baseball

Two MLB Positions Carry Five Percent.

Position 02

Pittsburgh Pirates at San Diego Padres

Run Protection San Diego Padres +1.5
Price: -170 Allocation: 2%
Research Rationale

The pitching matchup between Braxton Ashcraft and Robbie Ray creates a plausible low scoring environment, which makes the extra run particularly valuable.

San Diego enters in excellent form and has won three straight, while Pittsburgh has lost three consecutive games.

Fernando Tatis Jr. is also one of baseball's hottest hitters. He enters Monday with 12 home runs since the All Star break after another multi homer performance Sunday.

The +1.5 structure is deliberate. We do not need San Diego to win. A one run Pittsburgh victory still settles the position successfully. In a matchup where one or two runs could decide the game, that protection has value even at a substantial price.

Indicator Stack
  • San Diego Strong Recent Form
  • Pittsburgh Three Game Losing Streak
  • Tatis Second Half Power Surge
  • Quality Pitching Matchup
  • 1.5 Run Protection
The Price Is the Risk
At -170, the protection is expensive. We are paying materially for the extra run. That prevents the position from receiving a larger allocation even though the market structure gives us multiple paths to settlement.
Position 03

Chicago Cubs at Arizona Diamondbacks

Team Total Chicago Cubs Over 4.5 Runs
Price: -123 Allocation: 3%
Research Rationale

Chicago enters Monday with one of the strongest immediate offensive signals on the board. The Cubs scored 19 runs Sunday in Seattle and have produced at least four runs in seven of their last eight games.

The matchup now moves to Chase Field against Merrill Kelly. Kelly enters with a 5.37 season ERA, and the research captured for today's card identifies his home environment as a particularly difficult portion of his season.

Recent workload also supports the offensive thesis. Kelly has allowed five runs in three of his last four starts according to the research supplied for today's card, with those outings ending in five innings or fewer.

Rather than asking Chicago to win the game, the position isolates the strongest part of the thesis: Cubs run production. Five runs are required to cash.

Indicator Stack
  • 19 Runs Sunday
  • Four Plus Runs in 7 of Last 8
  • Current Offensive Form
  • Merrill Kelly Matchup
  • Chase Field Environment
  • Team Total Isolation
Why the Team Total Instead of Cubs ML?
The strongest evidence concerns Chicago's offense, not necessarily the complete game result. A team total allows the wager to succeed even if Arizona also scores heavily. The market expression stays closer to the actual research thesis.

The Final Stretch Does Not Change the Rules

August is approaching its final week with the standardized bankroll approximately 18 percentage points above its starting level.

That creates no obligation to defend 118%.

It also creates no permission to become more aggressive simply because there are fewer days remaining.

Sunday used 0%. Monday uses 6%. Both are valid outputs of the same system.

Decision Intelligence

Today's Three Positions Express Three Different Ideas.

Chelsea and San Diego

Chelsea is a team quality and managerial transition thesis expressed through a traditional moneyline.

San Diego is a close game thesis expressed through +1.5 run protection.

Similar confidence does not require identical markets.

Chicago

The Cubs position is not fundamentally a side.

The evidence is concentrated around offensive production and the opposing pitching environment.

That is why the team total is the cleaner expression.
