Why +3.5 on MNF instead of ML?
Key number protection. If our projection shows a tight script and +3.5 is fairly priced, we take the hook rather than force a coin-flip moneyline.
Why Phillies +1.5 at -150 in playoffs?
Postseason variance compresses: shorter leashes and high-leverage relief reduce blowouts. If our cover rate clears break-even with cushion, the runline can be a +EV insurance tool.
